Lily Lake Yurt Trip 2021

“(5/5 stars) Perfect balance of being professional and making people feel safe and comfortable, but at the same time being fun and relaxing and seeming informal in a way. I met so many new people and gained 7 new friends. I genuinely walked out of there being just as good friends with Sean as any of the other kids and not in a weird way. Sean is so good at dealing with kids and teenagers, I can’t stress it enough. I wish I had him as a teacher so bad.”

“Had so much fun on the yurt trip! It was very cool to unplug and use our resources throughout the trip. Although hiking was tough at time, it was really good to be outside and talk to everyone. Overall, I had a great time and would definitely do it again.”

AAI Fall Hiking Immersion

“I would just like to sincerely thank you for a good hiking trip. I climbed two mountains as you know, and that gives me a good story to tell. I didn’t have enough time to climb Mount Grandeur but I think I will try again after I recover from all that. While getting there wasn’t always fun, and the severe pain I had when I got home was also not fun, I do not regret doing it. I learned some things, and had some fun, and on any normal day I would take an anxiety pill, but either the experience or the pain made me not need it. The views, the orange juice and really just being able to show my lazy butt that I can climb two mountains within a couple of hours was good enough for me. That was the most fun I had in quite a while, so thank you”.
